So Discover Card sends me a letter today telling me I've been rejected for a card. It lists three reasons: Year in College(its is a college student credit card, and I told them I was still a Freshman), No checking and/or savings accounts(I have two checking accounts), Excessive number of credit bureau inquiries. The last one really worried me, so I went and looked at my credit report because being denied by a creditor gives you a freebie by law. Now when I get there I have, get this, ZERO negative reports, ZERO!!!!!!!!! So what I'm getting to is this, if you don't want to give someone something, don't try and bolster your position with lies, tell them the truth, even if it might be something they don't want to hear. Like, "I don't know you and there's no way I could trust you", in this particular case.

i lubbs my guitar and actually want to learn trumpet XD

congrats on being so cool

is trumpet something that is self teachable through trial and error, or is a teacher recommended?

i like to chew on my plectrum
:iconmonseigneur:
Its hard to say whether you could teach yourself trumpet. It's not like a string instrument where it has it's tone built in by plucking a string. You have to control the tone with your lungs/lips. So if you have some reference tunes you could listen to to get a basic idea on tone, and some fundamental music knowledge(read sheet music, able to tune, etc) it's probably possible to be self taught.
